Exoplanet observation is the study of planets that exist outside of our solar system. These planets, known as exoplanets, are incredibly diverse in terms of size, composition, and orbit patterns. Observations of exoplanets are conducted using a variety of techniques, including transit photometry, radial velocity measurements, and direct imaging. By studying exoplanets, scientists hope to gain a better understanding of planetary formation and evolution, as well as the potential for habitable conditions on other worlds.
